Head of R&D department

Job Description - Duties:

A senior developer with strong managerial experience to architect, design and manage product development for an internet client-server & WEB system with substantial back-office and WEB automation aspects.

Requirements:

§         4-10 years experience in software development of client-server and WEB systems for Microsoft Windows

§         Proven manager of multiple medium or large projects – staff of 3-20

§         Strong design and development capabilities with the following technologies:

§         Borland Delphi/C++ Builder small footprint client development

§         .NET Server & WEB development using Borland Developer Studio

§         Strong knowledge of VCL & WEB component sources

§         Web services (native/.NET), Sockets programming – HTTP, TCP/IP

§         The client is a leader in online gaming and is licensed to operate an online casino. Sales and Marketing team, you will be reporting to an overseas Commercial Director and working closely with Sales, Operations and Customer Support teams located across five global offices.

§         Daily interaction and involvement with a global client base in person and via phone, chat and email

§         Manage, coordinate and assist the client’s day to day operations of both the game systems and back-end

§         Oversee and coordinate Customer Support interactions with both the Clients and their Player base

§         Deliver extensive back-end data research and reporting to Head Office to quantify Client performance

§         Support Sales via attendance at presentations and industry events.

Requirements:

Reporting directly at board level, your primary responsibility will be to maintain and develop the commercial and financial relationships with the key operating customers. The person in this role will interface with business development, marketing and technology development to define business needs and priorities, translate those needs into functional requirements, work with technology development and payment support to develop actionable work plans and product specifications and support the build, launch and implementation of these products, new payment methods and processors.

Implementation includes documentation and training for support, updating websites, writing a guide for broad reference and creating standard templates that will be used to understand and resolve customer issues with respect to processor and payment methods introduced across the globe.

In addition, this role will require the oversight and management of the existing payment methods and payments systems, including priority decisions on new features and/or modules, as well as requirements definition for these new features.
